I met Duncan while deployed with the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit aboard the USS Pearl Harbor. He was serving as 3/1 Kilo Co’s executive officer. I was the combat camera attachment on the ship. Duncan approached me about their upcoming wedding in Charlotte, North Carolina and I was ecstatic. I also gave him a wonderful idea to take his fiancee Sarah out on a date. It was to go horseback riding in a winery and Sarah already knew that it totally wasn’t Duncan’s idea. Looking forward to seeing you guys in Charlotte!
